Introducing VLA Administrator

Introducing Macy as V.L.A. Administrator

My name is Macy Juhola and I am a mom and cat owner. I am excited to be working for the CRPUSD school district as the Site Administrator for the Virtual Learning Academy (VLA). I  received a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Psychology and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Sonoma State University.

As an experienced leader, I am a committed supporter for improving outcomes for students, schools and communities.  I have worked as an elementary teacher, teaching in kindergarten, third, fifth and sixth grades and have effectively served as an assistant principal at Evergreen and Monte Vista Elementary Schools over the past five years. I am most dedicated to supporting all learners in reaching their full potential by working to create a safe and effective learning environment. Over the years, I have worked to strengthen our staff, students, and families' awareness of Digital Citizenship and how to make safe and responsible decisions online. As a community, it is important that we work together to provide a strong foundation for each and every student and I look forward to getting to know you and your family!

I enjoy outdoor activities and participating in events such as Endurance Races and Triathlons. You can usually find me on the weekends hiking, running or biking (slowly) around our beautiful county. I am excited to continue to grow within our district and look forward to working with everyone in our VLA Community!
